Efficient assembly ODU MAC LC modules for PCB termination

Reliability and efficiency are important in each area in a company, and of course this also includes the PCB assembly department.

This has led the connector specialist ODU, located in Mühldorf, Germany, to expand its ODU MAC LC (modular rectangular connectors) with the addition of a PCB termination module. This module allows simple and efficient connection of PCBs to rectangular connectors. The PCB modules are first soldered on to the PCB, and then the ODU MAC LC can be very simply plugged in. No extra frame is needed on the PCB side, and this reduces the assembly costs.

Modules are delivered with solder joints already mounted

Insertion forces remain in the connector, so there is no
