The latest generation of dermatology lasers has a modular construction. These consist of a basic device and individual applicators, such as for high-speed epilation, acne, gentle skin rejuvenation or photodanamic therapy.
The modular ODU-MAC connector system facilitates the quick exchange of the individual applicators. Because ODU springwire contacts are used, a high number of mating cycles (up to 100,000) is no problem.
Modules for transmitting signals and power are built into a customized housing (developed and manufactured by the customer). The ODU-MAC locking spindle ensures simple and convenient handling - even for untrained personnel.
